Change of Heart lost our beloved brother and keyboard player, Michael Toone back in 2009. He had several talents, which included vocal, songwriting; music composing, studio mixing and could play a variety of instruments such as guitar, bass guitar, drums, piano, and brass instruments. He had a Southern Gospel Style Vocal, which could go from bass to tenor within a note change. Mike had his own recording studio, where the group set their sound tracks and Mike mixed the music and vocals to make a beautiful blend of harmonies. Mike played country for years. Before coming into Change of Heart, he played with a Southern Gospel group for 30 years called the New Sensations. He will truly be missed.
Change of Heart exhibits a heart-felt desire to Glorify God through their music and personal testimonies. Their only wish is to use the gifts that God has given them, to deliver a message about our Lord Jesus Christ who forgives, loves and saves! You will not want to miss this special group as they joyfully Praise and Worship and lead people to Jesus Christ. Their vocal talents, as well as their blended harmonies are sure to minister to all that hear them sing. The Lord with Mike's talent has blessed this group with over two dozen original songs including the composing of the music to blend together and make beautiful sounds to the Lord.
We want to acknowledge some individuals that were inspirations in our lives: Herman Ramey, (Sheila's Dad) James Ladd, (Carl's Dad), Nathan Harris, (Sheila's Son) along with Michael W. Toone. They all will always be remembered!
